I am really a novice in jewelry work but it was fun getting some experience in metals on smaller scale than I am used to. This is the first of 3 designs
(all unrelated). The function was to act as a holster for a pen. The
pen is just a cheap ballpoint but it holds sentimental value because I
used it at work in Shanghai over the summer of 2010. The projects main
purpose was to act as an exercise to improve my riveting skill. I normally shy from pure ornament but I enjoyed the humor of the concept.
